NARISAWA
NARISAWA is the only restaurant in Asia to be awarded annually in the World 50 Best for the last 15 years in a row. The multi-award winning restaurant has held 2-Michelin stars since 2011, as well as the recipient of numerous other industry accolades.

Lauded for his innovative and sustainable approach to cuisine, the acclaimed Chef will bring his nature-inspired culinary style to the Mandala Club in Singapore for a one-of-a-kind dining experience commencing 24 March through to 30 April.

Chef Narisawa’s five-week residency will see him on-site at the restaurant for the entire duration of the exclusive event series. His 15-person team will also be joining him from his eponymous 2-Michelin star restaurant in Tokyo to serve lunch and dinner for 24 guests in the main dining room, and up to 12 guests in the private dining room each day. During their tenure in Singapore, the NARISAWA restaurant in Japan will be closed for renovation.

Chef Narisawa is renowned for his unique genre known as ‘Innovative Satoyama’ cuisine, which draws on the wisdom and traditional food culture of Satoyama from our ancestors. The Japanese term “Ji’nen” which refers to the spirit of nature, encompasses the idea of preserving the Satoyama culture in harmony with the natural world. Chef Narisawa uses this philosophy to create a cuisine that not only nourishes the body but also the spirit, promoting both personal well-being and a sustainable environment. This is what he refers to as beneficial and sustainable gastronomy.
